Palash Ahmed
Palash Ahmed is a global executive, entrepreneur, and music artist with over 25 years of experience spanning U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Palash recently served as the Head of Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Music Development, focused on music artist-connected content across scripted, non-scripted, and animated slates. During this tenure, he held a dual role as strategic advisor to the current CEO of Sony Group, identifying growth opportunities and serving as a sounding board for global initiatives. Prior to that role, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Sony Pictures, leading M&A and strategy for the film and television studios.
Prior to Sony, Palash was a Partner at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advised global C-suite leaders across USA, Europe, and Asia, along with major private equity firms like The Carlyle Group and Apollo, on deal sizes ranging from $500 million to $50 billion.
Prior to BCG, Palash was a music artist and entreprenuer, launching six businesses in the media and entertainment space. As a global DJ and record producer, he was signed to an album deal in the UK, produced/remixed over 30 records for major and independent labels, including Sony Music, Universal, Warner Brothers, EMI, BMG, and many others. He performed in over 45 countries, and collaborated with the fashion label Armani Exchange, to merge the world of music and fashion. He produced an album and completed a North American tour, including performing for Giorgio Armani’s Lifetime Achievement Awards in NYC.
He is currently Co-CEO of a film and television production and financing company, and provides strategic advisory to media companies across film, television, and music.
Rodney Boyd
Rodney J. Boyd serves as a Strategic Advisor to Fangri-La, bringing more than two decades of experience at the intersection of law, government affairs, business strategy, and public policy. Widely respected for his ability to navigate complex institutional landscapes and build high-level partnerships, Rodney advises Fangri-La on strategic growth, stakeholder engagement, market positioning, and long-term business development. He provides strategic counsel focused on partnerships, public engagement, intellectual property positioning, and the evolving relationship between technology, entertainment, culture, and consumer experience. His background in negotiating complex business arrangements, advising innovative ventures, and building trusted relationships across sectors positions him as a key advisor as Fangri-La expands its vision for digitally connected fan experiences and next-generation entertainment platforms.

Norty Cohen
Norty Cohen is Co-Founder of Fangri-La and the founding partner of the 23-year-old national marketing agency, Moosylvania, where he led innovation and reinvention as a daily ritual. He published three non-fiction books, including Join the Brand, which identified two-way conversation as the building block for fan communities. His research on turning followers into fans ultimately sparked his collaboration with the team to launch Fangri-La. His latest book, Prompting Originality, was Small Press Book of the Year 2025. His JustFurrFun project won an Innovation in Philanthropy award with an album of dog songs benefiting shelters nationwide during the Pandemic. He’s actively involved in music production and created a touring musical debuting in November 2026
Rick Zimmerman
Rick Zimmerman is an entrepreneur and investor with a background in advanced manufacturing, engineering, and technology. As the former owner and CEO of two aerospace manufacturing companies, he built and led businesses that produced precision-engineered components for military and commercial aerospace applications prior to a successful private equity exit. Today, he invests in companies, focused on innovation, technology, and next generation product development.

Brian Clever
Brian Clever is Co-Founder of Fangri-La and Owner of BClever, a branding and marketing agency serving national restaurant, beverage, hospitality, technology, automotive, and lifestyle brands. For 25 years, Brian has worked at the intersection of brand strategy, creative storytelling, consumer engagement, and entrepreneurial execution, helping companies turn ideas into memorable brands, campaigns, and experiences.
His work has touched some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Live Nation, Lexus, Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Grey Goose, Wild Turkey, Coca-Cola, and Nike. That range has shaped his understanding of how people connect emotionally with the brands, teams, artists, and cultural moments they follow and love.
